Orders from Outside the UK

(International Shipping Information)

We’re proud to ship our prints all over the world. Every order is packed carefully in archival materials and sent directly from our studio in the United Kingdom.

Where We Ship:

We regularly ship to Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as most other destinations worldwide.
Packages are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked and delivered by your local postal service (for example, USPS in the United States or Deutsche Post in Germany). Courier upgrades are also available.

What We Ship:

All prints and posters are unframed, unmounted artworks on paper (tariff heading 4911, country of origin GB).
Smaller prints are shipped flat in reinforced envelopes; larger posters are rolled in sturdy cardboard tubes.

Duties, Taxes, and Import Fees:

Most orders arrive smoothly with little or no extra cost on delivery.

Below is what typically applies when importing unframed prints:

United States

  • No customs duty is charged on unframed paper prints (HS 4911).

  • Parcels clear customs quickly, and most customers receive them just like domestic mail.

  • On rare occasions, carriers may charge a small handling fee (usually $10–$20).

In short: Almost all US customers receive their orders with no additional charges at all.

European Union

  • Printed artworks (HS 4911) carry 0 % customs duty, but VAT is collected by your local postal service at your country’s standard rate (usually 19 – 23 %) on the item + shipping.

  • Local carriers add a modest handling/clearance fee, usually €5 – €15.

This means a £40 print + £5 shipping typically incurs about €11 – €17 in VAT and fees on delivery.

Rest of World

  • Similar to the EU: local VAT or GST may be applied at your country’s rate, together with a small postal handling charge.

Who Pays These Charges?

International parcels are sent DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), meaning any local VAT or carrier fees are collected by your postal service when the parcel arrives.
We include complete customs data (value, HS 4911, origin GB) so clearance is straightforward.

If you prefer to pre-pay all import costs, please contact us — we can usually arrange a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)courier option.

What Happens If Charges Aren’t Paid…?

If an order is returned to us because import charges weren’t accepted, we’ll refund the item price once it arrives back safely, less the original outbound shipping cost.

Delivery Times (Typical)

  • Europe: 5 – 10 business days (postal)

  • USA / Canada: 7 – 14 business days (postal)

  • Rest of world: 7 – 20 business days depending on destination

Tracking links are emailed automatically once your order ships.
